 Vision Counseling
Gregory Sowles  PhD, HSPP, LMHC, Clinical/Neuropsychologist

Greetings! A brief ‘get to know you’ deserves a focused overview: I have the privilege of being a husband, and a father of four, so I find my life full of opportunities to continue developing relationally. Further interests in agriculture, hunting, fishing, politics and theology seem to fit well with the last 25 years of serving others that started as a camp counselor. Integrating faith with professional practice typifies my daily service style so that the whole person is served. Similarly, being trained in the field of Neuropsychology, that integrates the fields of psychology and neurology, daily helps me with understanding the ‘brain-body’ relationship - a relationship that requires constant balancing. I get energized by helping others find this balance.

Cheryl Ventruella  Client Relations

A mild-mannered receptionist for a great metropolitan counseling center, fights the never ending battle for Truth, Justice and the American Way.  Faster than a speeding bullet.  More powerful than a locomotive.  Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.  Look!  Up in the sky!  It’s a bird.  It’s a plane.  NO – It’s Super Receptionist.  Well, maybe, super only occasionally.  I can’t leap tall buildings but I can be compassionate, caring and flexible as the front desk receptionist and client intake specialist at CornerstoneVision Counseling Center.  I schedule new clients, answer phones and do a variety of tasks on short notice as the need arises while wearing a smile and displaying God’s love to our clients.  I have been gifted by God to have a servant’s heart and feel blessed to be able to work at CVC.  Married for twenty-eight years to a wonderful man and have two grown daughters and four grandchildren.

Melissa Hildebrand  BA PSYCH

Melissa would modestly say she too is a “mild mannered receptionist” who loves pretzels and strives to be compassionate and thorough in her role as the Office Manager of the CornerstoneVision Counseling Center.  She gives order to the office procedures, she schedules new clients, she answers the phones, she keeps staff organized…in fact she does so much the question is ‘Just what doesn’t she do when she’s serving others.’ The CVC team likes to tease her just to see if they can get her off task – not likely you can be sure. So if you are stumped with how to get help you would be wise to ask her for direction.  Melissa has been gifted with a servant -guide’s heart  that enjoys new challenges. For example, in recent years she got married to a great guy just to keep the fun of daily challenges thriving.  The staff think the pretzels are a ‘Freudian thing.’
